The smartest way to document your bee colony

Beekeepers: Is it time to stop standing around annoyed at the apiary and cleaning the propolis from your cell phone?

There is a secret weapon that allows you to document the condition of your bee colony quickly and easily, without having to carry honey and propolis with you on your phone or hive card:

The pin stock card

More than 300 beekeepers already appreciate its advantages.

You can find all relevant criteria on a clear map .

By swapping the pins, you record the current state of each loot.

Create a history : After completing your work on the hive, you can photograph the pin hive cards . The hive number and your smartphone's digital time stamp make them easy to identify .

Beekeeping without sticky fingers is rarely successful.

As exciting as it is to look into your bee colony, there is always this frustration about sticky hive cards and propolis on your phone.
So constantly: gloves off - make entries - gloves back on.
You know that this approach is time-consuming and inefficient.

What if propolis or honey on your hands no longer spoiled your mood?

When documenting with the pin stock card, you don't even have to take off your gloves. You can easily move the pins to the right place, with or without sticky fingers.

With the pin stock card you can also document:

 Clear
At a glance, you can see the recorded status and get a direct comparison of the improvement or deterioration of the last documentation when you move the pins.

 Time-saving
No more constantly taking your gloves off and putting them back on! Plus, you only have to move the pins when making changes, leaving the rest in place. This way, you can usually document six times faster and use the time you save to your advantage.

 Thorough
Record all relevant criteria. These were coordinated with numerous beekeepers across Germany, so you can relax and enjoy your evenings knowing you've recorded all the important information.

Out of necessity: The invention of the pin-stock card

The usual options, whether on paper, in a book, via an app, or an Excel spreadsheet, weren't enough for us. At the apiary, our phone and paper would stick together or get wet, and by the time we got home on our PC, we'd already forgotten half the data. Frustrating!
Some well-known beekeepers had developed systems to document the colony externally, for example with chalk or tufts of grass.

We thought: THIS CAN BE BETTER

Us? That's Marco and Christoph from near Trier, friends and business partners.

Our idea was to develop a suitable scale that reflects the most frequently used criteria.
For this purpose, we based our work on the common hive maps and conducted surveys with numerous beekeepers and beekeeping associations in Germany.

In the next step, we tested different materials to find one that was durable, weatherproof, and animal-safe (keyword: ants), as well as UV-resistant. Rigid foam proved to be the perfect material.

It took five iterations of piecemeal improvements until the final version was finally created, until the pin stock map finally met our requirements. Since then, we've been documenting more stress-free and faster than ever before .

This enormous time savings We want to make this possible for you too. Benefit from the Pin Stock Card!

Another big advantage compared to conventional variants:

✅ Document easily in any weather

The pin-stock map is suitable for all weather conditions – unlike traditional documentation on paper or mobile phones.

Do your stock cards spread across the entire rapeseed field in windy weather?

The pin stock card cannot fly away.

A sudden rain shower soaks your stock card and your entries get lost?

The pin-stock card is rainproof and even cleans itself when exposed to rain.

The sun is shining. You've set your phone's brightness to the highest setting, but the screen is still glaring and you can't see anything?

The pin stock card is easy to read and UV resistant for up to 4 years.

We receive enthusiastic messages every day from beekeepers who use our pin stock cards and thus finally document their beekeeping in a time-efficient and clear manner.

Finally document efficiently!
